The College of Marine Science, University of South Florida, in collaboration
with federal partners, held a workshop on hurricane storm surge modeling
on St. Pete Beach, FL, February 11-12, 2009.
The intent of the workshop was to advance the state of the art in storm surge
modeling and information dissemination by identifying present shortcomings and
recommending ways to improve upon these.
