Things to do:
There are plenty of restaurants in historic downtown Melbourne on Strawbridge Ave., where New Haven Ave bends before the 192 causeway. There is excellent Indian River Lagoon viewing (pelicans, dolphins and manatees). Fishing action (redfish, seatrout, snook, sail catfish, and tarpon) is available 10-15-25 minutes from the meeting location. For walkers, we suggest the walk on route 192 over the causeway bridge (great view, nice breeze). Sebastian Inlet and the fishing pier is approximately 25 minutes south on US Highway A1A. Cocoa Beach and fishing pier is approximately 45 minutes north on US A1A. Cape Kennedy is approximately 60 minutes away. Come and spend the weekend! Be sure to pick up the Florida Today to read about local issues and local events! If you need a specific, high resolution weather, sailing, windsurfing, surfing forecast contact WeatherFlow. For fishing reports call ROFFS(TM) (but they'll tell you that the fishing is always good, sometimes the catching is not as good).
