Dear Florida COOS Caucus Meeting Attendee,
Please reserve December 6, 2005 as the date for you to attend the Third Florida Coastal Ocean Observing System (COOS) Caucus
meeting. This will be held 10AM-4PM in St. Petersburg at the USF Campus. The meeting is hosted by Dr. Peter Betzer and
co-convened by Deans Otis Brown of UM and myself NSU. Dr. Mark Luther of USF is chair of the organizing committee for this
meeting. Tom Gustafson of NSU will be facilitating.
The purpose of the 3rd Florida COOS Caucus meeting (FCC3) is a town-hall gathering to gain information and to discuss common
Florida ocean issues and concerns. FCC3 will build upon the 1st and 2nd successful meetings previously held in Orlando in June
and August.
So that we can better plan this informative meeting, PLEASE RSVP to Adrienne Carter (cadrienn@nova.edu).
