2013 SUMMER CAMP

Who: All girls in Pinellas county who are completing the 8th grade
 
What: Learn science while having fun experiencing the Ocean World
 
When: 3 weeks! June 17 - July 5, 2013 - 8am-4pm daily
 
Where: University of South Florida College of Marine Science on the St. Petersburg Campus
(140 Seventh Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701)
 
Activities: A day at sea aboard a research vessel, coastal marine field trips, “real-world” research projects, career interviews, and visits to local marine attractions

Staff: Science mentors include graduate students, research scientists, teen counselors, educators and camp alumni
 
How to Apply: (1) From Jan 15th – Mar 31st

(2) Complete application and return by March 31st via mail to:

(3) Participate in an interview at your school the month of April
  (4) Letters will be mailed to all applicants about the outcome the week of May 1st
 
 
Cost: No cost, must provide daily transportation (limited to 30 girls)
