The Oceanography Camp is designed especially for girls and gives them the opportunity to explore the marine realm in a relaxed and supportive environment. Oceanography is an interdisciplinary field; it combines many different types of science and math in order to understand the oceans and the marine life. By learning about marine science first-hand through fieldtrips and research experiences, campers not only gain valuable insight into science and research, they also have a lot of fun and learn about their own abilities and strengths.
