Spring 1998 Reunion
On Saturday April 4, 1998, we held a reunion for The Oceanography Camp for Girls. In the morning we participated in a storm drain marking in conjunction with USF Scuba Club, Marine Science Advisory Committee, Ultimate Frisbee Club, and Flying Club. We labeled storm drains with signs which read "Dump No Waste, Drains To Bay." The signs were provided by the City of St. Pete Parks and Leisure Services. This was part of a citywide community effort to raise public awareness concerning coastal pollution. Our group marked 250 drains in a period of only two and half hours!
After a hard morning of community service, we gathered back at USF for a funfilled afternoon of swimming, BBQ-ing, reminiscing, and web surfing. We were also able to enjoy the activities of Easter Fest, which was held at the USF - Bayboro Campus.
