Our Marine Science graduate students have an official CMS organization called the Marine Science Advisory Committee that interfaces student interests, activities, and concerns with the faculty and administrators of the college and St. Petersburg campus. In addition, there are several international student organizations that are part of USF. Visit the Student Organizations website to search for an organization that may be of interest to you (please note: many of the international organizations are listed unter the "multi-cultural" category). In addition to the normal academic programs, another significant event for all of our students is our Friday afternoon "TGIF" events. The TGIF takes place after our Friday Seminars. The TGIF hosts a time where students, faculty and staff meet in an informal setting to interact and relax at the end of the week. TGIF is a unique opportunity for foreign students to improve their spoken English and learn more about other programs and activities going on in our college.
