OCC 6050 - Chemical Oceanography The ocean as a Chemical system,
including composition, physical-Chemical aspects, role of nutrients,
trace metals, interaction between the bottom and overlying water,
organic matter, and stable and radioactive isotopes. (Prerequisites:
General Chemistry and GS or CI).
OCG 6050 - Geological Oceanography Marine geology, including plate
tectonics; coastal, shelf and pelagic sedimentation; geoChemical
cycling; and sedimentary history of the ocean basins. (Prerequisites:
