INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students applying to our college should pay particular
attention to the specific requirements and deadlines for non-U.S.
citizens. Although most of these topics are addressed in the "Prospective
Students" pages of this website, please visit the following USF sites for more detailed information:
The
College of Marine Science is proud to have students from many parts
of the world participating in our graduate program. Our current
and recent students have come from such varied countries as Guatemala,
Indonesia, Kuwait, Argentina, Belize, Russia, Virgin Islands, India,
China, Korea, England, Uruguay, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Jamaica,
Mexico, and Barbados. The international flavor and diversity of
our college truly makes us part of the global community.
We encourage you to visit our faculty web pages and make direct
contact with any of our faculty who may be doing research of particular
interest to you. Ultimately, admission into our program depends
not only upon GPA, GRE and TOEFL scores, but also upon the ability
of an individual faculty member to accept new students based on
the time, space and financial resources the faculty member may have
available. If you have any further questions regarding the application
process, please contact us at the Office of Academic Affairs (advisor@marine.usf.edu).
