Using scientific research will be critical to informing planning, preparedness, response and recovery for future events,\u00a0and connecting this to decision makers in the response and restoration communities will be key.<\/p>\n<p>The 2017 conference invites sessions focused on the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Restoration and recovery<\/li>\n<li>Oil spill response and management strategies<\/li>\n<li>Human dimensions<\/li>\n<li>Ecological impacts<\/li>\n<li>Long-term fate and impacts<\/li>\n<li>Breakdown and transport<\/li>\n<li>Data management<\/li>\n<li>Outreach and science communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Deadline to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cvent.com\/events\/mproc.aspx?m=d7ef6412-5b24-489d-83e4-bac0c27ff04c&#038;u=http%3a%2f%2fabstractsonline.com%2fsbmt%2fworkspace.aspx%3fmkey%3d%7b47B102AE%252DEAC5%252D458B%252D9601%252DD07FD478C358%7d&#038;l=submit+a+session+proposal\">submit a session proposal<\/a>\u00a0is <strong>June 24th, 2016<\/strong>.
