Objectives<\/h3>\n

Since 2011, the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI) has enabled the investigation of the effects of oil spills on the environment and public health. The investigations yielded research results and technological advancements that will improve future studies and impact modeling efforts. This meeting will bring together the GoMRI and MTS communities, share research results and begin discussions of how the two communities might work together to better prepare for the next spill.<\/b><\/p>\n
