The technological developments planned for COMIT also seek to provide <strong><span style=\"color: #80b0a6;\">rapid response tools<\/span><\/strong> to re-map critical navigational areas during\u00a0<span style=\"color: #80b0a6;\"><strong>coastal disasters<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_section et_pb_section_2 et_pb_with_background  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_section_regular et_block_section\" >\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_row et_pb_row_2  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_block_row\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_column_1_2 et_pb_column et_pb_column_2  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_block_column\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_3 et_animated  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h3>USF's College of Marine Science\u00a0has a long history of developing new technologies to study and monitor the marine environment,<span color=\"#747d88\" face=\"Inder, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida, sans-serif\"><span color=\"#747d88\" face=\"Inder, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida, sans-serif\" style=\"color: #747d88; font-family: Inder, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-weight: 500;\"><strong><\/strong> from sensors to systems. This has been made possible largely by the CMS Ocean Technology group, comprised of individuals whose expertise and knowledge span electrical, software, and mechanical engineering.
