Project Oceanography Position:  Program Coordinator

Where do you work:
University of South Florida, College of Marine Science

What do you do at Project Oceanography?
I am responsible for recruiting new schools into the program and working directly with teachers on registration, distribution of educational materials, technical questions, and feedback.  I also act as a legislative liaison by keeping Florida Legislators apprised of Project Oceanography and it's progress.  I also work closely with the production staff on rehearsals and live broadcasts.  You can also see me on the show introducing the presenter and facilitating the question & answer segment of the program.

Education:
I received my Bachelor's degree in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I anticipate getting my Master's degree in Public Administration in the near future.

What do you find most interesting about your job?
I am privileged to work for such an innovative and exciting outreach program. I enjoy working directly with the students and teachers, helping to promote hands-on science.
