Name: Erin M. Symonds
Erin M. Symonds is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Mya Breitbart’s Genomics Laboratory. Her research focus is on health-related, water microbiology, specifically the use of wastewater-related viruses, enteric and pepper mild mottle virus, to identify fecal pollution in the environment as well as to assess the pathogen removal efficiency of wastewater treatment systems.
