She has extensive knowledge of multibeam mapping and for the C-SCAMP project plans multibeam surveys, runs the multibeam system at sea, and processes data for preliminary analysis at sea.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer recently finished her Master&#8217;s thesis in which she developed methods for characterizing benthic habitat using towed underwater video (from C-BASS) and multibeam sonar in two Marine Protected Areas on the West Florida Shelf: Madison-Swanson and Steamboat Lumps.
